Is there on-site parking available at High Beam Dreams?
Yes, High Beam Dreams offers on-site parking for guests attending weddings, concerts, and private events. Parking arrangements may vary depending on the size and nature of the event.
Is High Beam Dreams wheelchair accessible?
High Beam Dreams offers accessible entry to the main venue areas. It has designated accessible parking spots, wheelchair accessible path, venue and an accessible washroom. We recommend discussing specific accessibility needs with us in advance so we can provide detailed information.
How many guests can High Beam Dreams accommodate for a wedding?
High Beam Dreams is ideal for intimate to mid-sized weddings. Guest capacity depends on the layout and whether the ceremony and reception are hosted indoors, outdoors, or both. In roundtable setting the indoor space can hold about 100 guests, in rectangular table setting 120-130 guests can be seating and in concert style seating 150 guests can be seated. What is included in High Beam Dreams wedding rental package?
Our wedding rental package includes access to both indoor and outdoor venue spaces, tables, chairs, a wedding arch, indoor string lighting, project and scree, basic PA system with microphones, bar area with ice machine, hot water urn and coffee machine, local custom made spit and grill and select décor elements. Our goal is to reduce stress by providing essential infrastructure so couples do not need to coordinate multiple rental vendors. View our Wedding Packages for details.
Do you provide tables and chairs for weddings?
Yes. Tables and chairs are included as part of our wedding rental packages at High Beam Dreams. We have 150 white resin chairs, 10 round tables, 20 rectangular tables.
Can we host both our ceremony and reception at High Beam Dreams?
Yes, couples choose to host both their wedding ceremony and reception at High Beam Dreams. The venue offers flexible indoor and outdoor spaces to create a seamless celebration experience.
Do you allow outside catering of weddings?
Couples who choose High Beam Dreams receive a curated list of recommended vendors to assist in selecting trusted service providers. While couples are welcome to opt for vendors not listed, any chosen caterer outside our recommendations must receive express approval from us. It is essential that their caterer adheres to the venue's terms and conditions. For details on food service requirements and coordination, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Can we serve alcohol at our wedding?
Alcohol service is permitted under British Columbia liquor regulations. Couples are responsible for securing the necessary permits and event insurance. It is essential to hire a bartender with a valid 'Serving It Right' certification. High Beam Dreams is also happy to provide this service for an additional cost.
What accommodation options are near High Beam Dreams?
High Beam Dreams is within walking distance of Gibsons Landing Inn (approximately 180 metres), a boutique hotel. There are also numerous short-term vacation rentals, boutique accommodations, and oceanfront stays nearby.

Is event insurance required or weddings?
Yes, event insurance is required for all weddings and private events hosted at High Beam Dreams.
Is it mandatory to hire a wedding planner or Coordinator of the Day?
While we highly recommend hiring a professional wedding planner to support your planning journey, please note that if you are renting for a wedding, hiring an industry professional Day-of Coordinator is mandatory. This coordinator must be a qualified third-party professional and cannot be a guest or family member attending the event.
Is the venue available year round?
Yes, High Beam Dreams is a temperature-controlled indoor–outdoor venue and can host weddings in all seasons. The indoor space features stunning high beams and blue glass, while the garden provides a lush outdoor setting during warmer months.
Do you offer in-house catering?
High Beam Dreams features a large custom spit and grill and offers in-house catering. Couples may also work with approved caterers. Food safety and catering arrangements must meet venue guidelines.
