What is the venue capacity?
In concert style setting, the venue's capacity is 140. In a reception style setting with round, about 100 guests can be seated and rectangular tables setting can have between 130-135 guests. Please note that the seating capacity may be affected due to COVID 19 restrictions at the time.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, High Beam Dreams is wheelchair accessible. We also have a wheelchair accessible washroom.
What is included in the rental package?
When you rent our venue, below are the items that are covered in the rental:
Exclusive use of indoor venue (2000 sq. ft. approx.) and outdoor yard.
Tables & Chairs - we have 125 white chairs, 10 round tables (72 in diameter) and 14 rectangular tables (72 in. long) and 5 Bar Height Tables
Air conditioning and heating
PA system and Projector
Coffee/Tea Bar that includes coffee machine, hot water dispense boiler and Ice Machine
Catering prep area with custom made spit and grill (VCH approved)
Ample parking space on and around the property
What do you require from the renter?
1. Obtaining Special Event Insurance is mandatory.
2. If you are planning to serve/ sell liquor at your event, obtaining a Liquor Permit is mandatory.
3. If you are renting for a wedding, hiring an industry professional 'Coordinator of the Day' is mandatory . This person cannot be a guest or family member attending the event
Do you have preferred vendors' list?
Yes, we do have a preferred vendors' list. These are the vendors that we have worked with and know our venue well. Our preferred vendors' list has been helpful to our couples in choosing vendors. This list is to help couples and it is not mandatory for them to book with our preferred vendors. You are welcome to work with vendors that you like or know.
