About David Gogo:
David Gogo won the Acoustic Act of the Year (with Steve Mariner)- 2022 Maple Blues Awards. David Gogo has six JUNO Award nominations, has been named Guitarist Of The Year three times at the Maple Blues Awards, was named Musician Of The Year at the West Coast Music Awards, won Blues Recording Of The Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards, and received the Great Canadian Blues Award for his lifetime contribution to the blues in Canada as voted by the listeners of CBC's Saturday Night Blues.
When not touring, David Gogo lives on a Christmas Tree farm on Gogo Mountain, just outside of Nanaimo BC, Canada.
David Gogo will be joined by James Meger on Bass.
About James Meger:
James Meger is an active bassist and composer working primarily in the fields of jazz, free improvisation and rock music. He has worked with many local and international players such as Wayne Horvitz, Lori Freedman, Ig Henneman and Kris Davis and plays in many ensembles such as: Ron Samworth’s Dogs Do Dream, Peggy Lee’s Echo Painting, Sick Boss, The Alicia Hansen band, The Bruno Hubert Trio, Ten Thousand Wolves, The Now Orchestra, Cow Trance and many more.
Doors will open at 6:30 pm and show will begin at 7:00 pm.
Tickets are non-refundable. Outside food and beverages are not allowed.
