High Beam Dreams is hosting its first comedy show this September! Come, let's share some laughs together! 

Katie-Ellen Humphries Headliner

Katie-Ellen Humphries is a standup, writer and sketch performer whose comedy has been featured on CTV, CBC, CMT, APTN and OUT-TV and whose comedy album Ladyfinger debuted in the top five on iTunes in 2020. Katie-Ellen is a founding member of The Lady Show and veteran of award-winning comedy cabaret Atomic Vaudeville; Katie-Ellen is a regular on CBC Radio’s The Debaters where she has worked as a writer and Associate Producer. With a sensibility that falls somewhere between the library and the locker-room this performer has become a favourite of audiences across Canada and the U.S.

Jane Stanton

Jane Stanton is an accomplished actor and standup comedian. Since breaking onto the Canadian Comedy scene, Jane Stanton has become one of the country’s favourite headliners. Jane has been featured at multiple prestigious festivals across North America, and has made numerous appearances on hit shows such as CBC’s The Debaters and CBC LOL. Her debut album “Date Night” reached number 1# on iTunes.

Elisha Tatiana

Elisha Tatiana is a writer and standup comedian. She has produced a number of popular long-running live comedy shows in Vancouver and on the Sunshine Coast, including Revel Yell in Gastown, Jokes on Us at the legendary Kino Cafe, and Legion of Laughs at the Gibsons Legion. Elisha co-produces The Anxiety Show, first at the Kino Cafe and now at their new venue, Pleasant Music School on Granville Street in Vancouver. Elisha’s dream is to bring the most hilarious comedians from across Canada and the Sunshine Coast to local venues and to share the laughs with the local community.

Andy Cañete

Andy Cañete is an actor, writer and standup comedian. Andy has been a beloved favourite at Fringe Festivals across Canada for his hilarious and heart wrenching one-man show Porn and Pinochet. You have seen him in the tv series Alaska Daily, and films such as Deadpool 2. Andy was nominated for a Leo for Best Performance by a Male in a Web Series for Shrink-Wrapped the Web Series.
