About the Event

Join us for a beautiful afternoon of live Indian classical music featuring sitarist Neha Mahajan, accompanied by tabla artist Hriday Buddhdev, in an intimate matinee concert at High Beam Dreams.

Rooted in a centuries-old musical tradition, Neha Mahajan brings the sitar to life through rich, resonant sound and expressive storytelling. Trained in the Beenkar Gharana and shaped by both classical lineage and creative exploration, her performances invite listeners into the emotional depth and meditative beauty of raga music. Neha’s work has taken her from classical stages to international collaborations, including a feature on Ricky Martin’s Pausa, and she was recently honored with the Young Sitarist Award (2025) in India.

Joining her is Hriday Buddhdev, a rising Canadian musician recognized by CBC’s 30 Under 30 classical artists. Trained at the renowned Ali Akbar College of Music, Hriday brings sensitivity, rhythm, and soulful presence to the tabla, creating a dynamic and immersive musical dialogue.
